The active tourist will love this southern coast beach. After taking in the gorgeous horseshoe cove and cliffs, visitors can enjoy a wide range of activities. These include boat trips, watersports, mini golf, cycling and the chance to take relaxing walks along the breathtaking coastline.
Top for nature: Cala Trebaluger
This picture perfect southern beach can be found at the mouth of a river, surrounded by pine forests. Accessible only by foot, the area is perfect for bird watching enthusiasts. Unfortunately there is no where to grab lunch so it’s a smart idea to bring along a packed picnic basket you can enjoy should hunger strike.
Top all-rounder: Son Bou
Son Bou is well known as Menorca’s longest beach, stretching 3 kilometres along the south coast. There is plenty of room to enjoy the beautiful scenery whether it be while you’re lounging on the beach or partaking in one of the many water sports available. The beach is a popular place for tourists, but take particular care when heading into the sea as there is the occasional stong current.
